Venice of the Cotswolds!
The village of Bourton on the Water is one of the most popular tourist spots in the Cotswold's. The Duke of Wellington is situated in the busy centre of the village but offers a haven of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the shops and tourists.
In fine weather you can sit under the trees in the beer garden and relax by the river which runs through the grounds. Enjoy a meal outside but don’t forget to save a tasty morsel for the visiting ducks!

Take a look inside and you will see the recently spruced up front bar area with its gleaming beer fonts offering a fine selection of cask ales. Still retaining its local feel with a dart board and polished wood floor the pub now offers informal bar dining as well as a restaurant area towards the back of the pub. Sit down with your favourite tipple or maybe a coffee and read the papers on one of the comfy sofas. In winter months we light the log fires and bring real warmth to this typical stone walled Cotswold pub.
